Dr. Fasihul Akbar is an experienced pediatrician and public health specialist with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience in child healthcare. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College and later pursued DCH (Diploma in Child Health) from Burdwan Medical College, followed by MD in Community Medicine from North Bengal Medical College under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Akbar has extensive experience in pediatric care, preventive child health, and community medicine, combining clinical expertise with a strong understanding of public health. Over the years, he has served in several reputed healthcare institutions including Park Children’s Centre (Park Clinic), Dr. B. C. Roy Hospital for Children, and Belle Vue Clinic, Kolkata, where he gained valuable experience in pediatric and critical care.

Currently, Dr. Akbar serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at NRS Medical College, where he is actively involved in medical education, research, and training of future doctors. He also works as a consultant pediatrician in multiple healthcare centers, providing compassionate and evidence-based care for children.

Dr. Akbar has also completed PGPN (Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition) from Boston, USA, further strengthening his expertise in child nutrition and development.
